My Cancer Treatment

I have often been asked... 'what did you take to survive your cancer?'

It seems that the longer I had survived the disease, the number of people asking me this question correspondingly keeps increasing. I suppose this should be expected. Just after my second surgery, I had begun to make many new cancer survivor friends and I had an increasing respect for their long term cancer remedies that they went through. In nearly all of their stories, one common ingredient stood out in all of them - they had determination made of steel.

This, of course, translates into their qualities in discipline, strength and a will to change their lifestyle that is absolutely vital for their very survival. They struck me as highly positive people -happy, enthusiastic, passionate and at the same time, unassuming, humble, loving and kind in their outward disposition and behaviour.

I have written broadly my belief in getting the 3 human ingredients of mind, body and spirit in good, healthy condition at all times. And I had condensed a list of 15 remedies since 2004 - all of which are non-drug, natural based 'regime' and I hope to share these with you - one at a time in this blog. And here, I will begin with the easiest of the 3 ingredients - remedies for my body [physical].

So what did I take to 'cure' my physical illness?

I have, so far nine out of 15 of remedies under the category of 'physical'. And the currently most consistent remedy is my wearing a herbal sanitary pad. This is a pad laced with incredible herbs with an almost instantaneous effect on my colon cancer condition. It 'cools' the rectal region and have so far kept the affected organ in a healthy condition. Prior to my surgery December 2003, I had a bleeding and swollen anus with chronic constipation problems. Now, with the tumour snipped and a strictly controlled diet, amongst my 14 other remedies, these sanitary pads are common feature in my daily wardrobe.

My following remedy, the keladi tikus, will be up next.

Women's Health: Dioxin in feminine hygiene products can cause cervical cancer and endometriosis!

There are some products that are an unfortunate necessity in life and for the companies that manufacture these products the marketing and sales of them bring specific problems and issues as well as opportunities.

Menstrual products are one of them.

Picture this. A box of 30 of the leading brand, Tampax, retails at £2.58 at Tesco (as of 26th August 2005). In the lifetime of a woman therefore the number of tampons used will be 10,000, which in turn would mean buying around 333 boxes of Tampons. Given the retail price quoted (and bearing in mind that inflation and wage increases would make some difference to the overall figures) the total amount spent by the average woman over their lifetime on this product is £860.

If we relate this back to the number of women in the world (the world's population is currently around 6.5 billion. Of that figure around 3.2 billion are women) it is easy to see that the potential market is very big indeed - around £2,752,000,000,000,000!

A Beautiful Mind…Hafidzah Experience on Mind Control

I took the Silva Method course in July 2005 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Silva graduate, my increasing level of mental faculties is used to help others.

Using mind control as an alternative lifestyle skill, Nazlan and I managed to overcome many mental and physical obstacles in our daily lives, especially from the health view point.

Below is a testimony I’ve prepared for Silva Method Malaysia using my experience as a case study.

How Do I Explain Miracles?
June, 2006

I heard of the Silva Method from my husband who was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in July 2005. I have been practicing spiritual healing long before I joined the Silva Method, since I am from a family of spiritual healers. After attending the Silva programs, I started to heal my husband and others in need by using their systematic methods combining verses of the Al-Quran, and visualization/meditation techniques that we had learnt. Now, my husband too has been healing others in need using similar methods.

When healing people, it is important to understand the anatomy of the body and how our body systems work. For example, when someone has a problem in their stomach, we visualize the biological connections of the stomach with other parts of the body. One case in point was my own experience. Before I joined the Silva Method, I had a problem with my lower-right wisdom tooth where it was growing horizontally instead of vertically and I finally had it removed in May 2005, costing me RM2,000! Recently, when my lower-left wisdom tooth faced the same problem, I used the visualization technique to remove it through `laser surgery’ and voila! The tooth was just not there anymore. Astonishingly, I then felt the familiar post-surgery pain for about a week, then similarly, the pain subsided and I couldn’t feel or see anymore of the tooth. How do I then explain this miracle?

Another case in point. My younger brother suffered from long-term memory loss since 1994, at 21 yrs of age. That year, he was supposed to enroll into the International Islamic University for a degree in Economics. He never did. I then recently used the meditation technique combined with Al-Fathihah and other surah in the Al-Quran after my prayers. This I did twice a day for every day. After about 1 month, one fine day while we were having tea with the family, Dad asked us if anyone had remembered the registration number of one of our old Proton Saga family car, [one of Dad’s eccentric hobby was to have the family car changed for every year of our lives and we had on the last count used 49 cars….], and out of the blue my brother uttered in his soft voice the exact number first time! Every one of us looked at each other…speechless! As ordinary as this may sound to you, but as you can imagine, this was indeed a significant event to have happened to us lately. My brother can now drive a car [unthinkable just a few months ago] and has enrolled himself in GiatMARA, a local college, for a course in IT.

Then, there’s my eldest sister. She used to be an introvert, cold and snobbish, even to our own parents. She has now transformed into a friendly and warm person; she’d never kiss my parents but she now have and are doing so routinely; she’s never hugged or shaken my hands for 37 years of my life but she does so now. Again, how do I explain these miracles?

The biggest impact on my Silva Method training has to be in my career. As architects, my husband and I were once asked to conduct a presentation to the Prime Minister on a major impact public project. On the night before, I had my mind synchronized in the same frequency as the PM’s, and visualized that he understood the project and the benefits it can generate to Malaysians. What actually happened the following day was surreal…… 90% of the presentation was just like what I had visualized! And again, how do I explain this miracle?

“90% of the presentation was just like what I had visualized!”

—End of testimony

The course will be conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 2007 schedule for Basic I & II can be viewed at http://www.silvamethod.com.my/searchschedule4.php where registration can be done online. Natural Alternatives to the 12 Dangerous Prescription Drugs

“Drugs are a big business. Last year, aggressive marketing and sales rang up revenues of more than $100 billion dollars for the top 12 pharmaceutical companies. Rimland, who has long questioned the benefits of heavily promoted pharmaceuticals, refers to them as "sub-lethal doses of toxic substances" that kill an estimated 150,000 Americans each year. Rimland also likes pointing out that the 3,000-page Physicians Desk Reference, a compendium of prescription drugs, would probably be only about 100 pages long if all the drug side effects, warnings, and contraindications were deleted. That's an example, he says, of how dangerous prescription and OTC drugs are.

In contrast, natural therapies, which include vitamin and mineral supplements and herbal remedies, can often do the job of drugs, but with greater safely and at a lower cost. Vitamins and minerals also play roles in normal biochemistry and maintaining, so they're less likely to cause side effects. "You don't get a headache because you have an aspirin deficiency," Rimland quips.” – Jack Challem, The Nutrition Reporter™

It is because of this that 1AlternativeMedicineS.com was formed; in order to discuss safe, effective methods of treating illnesses and relieving their symptoms without harsh chemicals that can cause unfavorable side effects.

Our suggestions to replace the 12 prescription drugs:

Acne – Replace Accutane with high fibre colon cleanser + Zinc + Vitamin A, E, and B6.
Cholestrol – Replace Baycol & Crestor with nattokinase (soy enzymes, a natural blood clot dissolver) + red yeast + pollen.
Pain – Brain control pain! Replace Bextra, Celebrex & Vioxx with food rich with tryptophan (protein that release serotonin, a powerful chemical in the brain that blocks pain) such as chicken, cheese, eggs, halibut, peanuts, peanut butter, milk & soybeans; + vitamins that strengthen brain such as Vitamin A,B C & E, magnesium, selenium, lecithin, phosphatidylserine, acetyl 1-carnitine, ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and phenylalanine.
Weight loss – Replace Fen Phen with high fibre colon cleanser + Vitamin A, E, C & B + aloe vera + garlic + exercise 30 mins. per day.
HRT – Replace Prempro & Premarin with phytoestrogens (a plant compounds similar to human estrogen to combat the effects of hormonal changes) food and herbs such as soy, nuts, whole grain, pueraria lobata, dong quai, etc.
Diabetes – Replace Rezulin with high fibre raw diet to control blood glucose level + nattokinase (dissolve blood clots) + pollen (lowers the LDL cholesterol level).
Depression – Replace Serzone & Zyprexa with Silva Mind Method (dynamic meditation for self healing).
